Nelson Mandela is right when he said that education is a powerful tool for catalyst. As a teacher of the future, I strongly believe that the Philippine educative process must never end on improving to cater to the rapid changes and needs of the world. However, to uplift the quality of education, our nation must invest more into strengthening the Teacher Education programs as well as returning the prestige of this noble profession.  The educational stakeholders must agree on liberating the teachers from an overload of unnecessary paperwork, so they can instead exert more effort and commitment to teaching. Moreover, the stakeholders must listen to the grievances of our teachers, so each concern will be raised well and proper actions must be done.

Teaching is a wonderful journey toward holistic development. Every teacher is a life-long learner, too. Teaching and learning go hand-in-hand to produce youths that will, hopefully, transform society into a better version that everyone has been longing for.

Teaching and learning must always be responsive and responsible for character formation and nation-building. To efficiently ensure that our students gain the quality of education they deserve, teachers must not only put into practice all the learning theories they learned from their undergraduate or graduate degrees but also be keen on learning what else they can do to put their students first, especially their welfare.

Thus, being a teacher is a commitment to assist the students to graduate from ignorance whilst learning is a process that will never exhaust your mind, as Leonardo da Vinci once stated.
