Don’ts In Losing Weight

There are things that we do to achieve our goals, but always remember that you don’t have to push yourself that much in order to get a fast result. Here are some don’ts you need to know when you are trying to lose weight.


1. Do not have high expectations

 

We often want a fast result when we just got started, this is not a good start off if you’re losing weight, this will not you get motivated. Always remember that it will take at least 4-6 weeks to see changes, remove yourself from high expectations because you have to work hard to achieve the best result,


2. Do not cut out your favorite foods

 

This is a big big NO, you are just punishing yourself by thinking that you are restricted to eat cakes, chocolates, or your other favorite food. Always remember that you can eat whatever you want as long as you don’t go over your calorie intake each day.


3. Do not starve yourself


We often think that if we don’t eat, we can lose weight and that is not good, you might get thinner because you have gotten sick. Eat-in a minimal amount if you’re hungry, but do not starve yourself. It is better to lose weight in a slow phase but in a healthy way.


4. Do not sleep late


As much as you want to binge-watch or play a mobile game until midnight, much better if do it in the afternoon. You better get enough sleep, it will help to fasten your metabolism.


5. Do not punish yourself


I know there are times that you skipped your routine or ate too much in a day, so as a punishment you don’t eat or exhaust yourself in doing your routines but this is not good and won’t do any help in your goals, you’re just punishing yourself. It is okay to fail once or twice, and it’s part of the journey just remember that you can go back on track tomorrow.
