Your alarm clock never gets tired yelling at your exhausted body every morning. Despite the time—say 10:00 A.M.—you want to go back to sleep again instead of attending your online class.
What seems to be the problem? Is it because your body clock drastically changed? Is it due to the physical and mental drain brought by the online class? Is it because of the overloaded tasks waiting at you? Whatever it is, one thing is for sure—being an online class student is tiring!
No matter how many times you try changing your sleeping schedule or watching vlogs about maximizing the online learning setup, they are not entirely helping. That is because we are internally demotivated. Even though how many times people will encourage you to do some activities for you to enjoy this “now normal” learning, it has no guarantee of absolute help.
Thus, let us try providing some meaningful tasks to our mostly used body parts and in this way, this might light our fading passion to continue:
EYES – See the world in a new perspective as you actively participate in this “now normal” learning, but don’t forget to rest and limit your screen time.
NOSE – Inhale new knowledge and exhale negativities in every online class we have.
EARS – Listen attentively to the discussions, but raise your hand if it is choppy on your end.
MOUTH – Speak in English as you share your thoughts and feelings with us. Don’t mind having the “perfect” grammar, it’s normal to make mistakes. We’re here to learn from it.
BRAIN – Always think of the importance why do you need to attend today’s session and why do you need to learn today’s topic.
HEART – Express your emotions in every discussions through sharing of ideas, but don’t be afraid to admit if you have difficulty understanding the topic.
WHOLE BODY – Be prepared in every way, but if there’s an unexpected situation, don’t worry. We got you!
